Hello,

My name is Yemi.

I am Yoruba woman who grew up in Paris and later moved to London.

After the Covid Lockdowns I decided to have a career change and do something that I enjoy and outside my comfort zone.

SPMU became my choice!!

SPMU taps into a part of me I have silenced for too long.

Hence, my logo. It's cheeky yet friendly just like me. It is a reminder that we all deal with day-to-day insecurities. Especially as a WOMAN! 

I feel the need to clarify the word "boudoir".

Boudoir comes from "bouder" which means to sulk...so in the Regency era French women would retire in their boudoir to be alone...(between you and me that's self-care!!!). 

Nothing sexual just a room where you can be yourself "Warts and all" and come out more confident and more self-loving! 

I find it therapeutic! Would you believe?
